Signosis’ Oxidative Stress Combo Assay Kit is a multiplex oxidative stress and antioxidant assay that can be utilized to sequentially measure reactive oxygen species (ROS), lipid peroxidation (MDA), glutathione (GSH), and superoxide dismutase (SOD) step by step from the same samples. In this kit, DCFDA is first used to measure the ROS in the media of live cells. Then, the cells are lysed and the lysates are used to measure MDA levels, GSH levels, and SOD activity. Additionally, this kit can also be used to analyze tissue samples. A modified manual for tissue analysis is provided.
 
 
Data Analysis & Interpretation
High ROS/RNS + Low GSH/GSSG + High MDA → Oxidative stress damage.
High ROS but High SOD + High GSH/GSSG → Active antioxidant response.
Low SOD + Low GSH/GSSG + High MDA → Severe oxidative damage, impaired defenses.
