Pre-B-cell leukemia homeobox 1 (Pbx1) is a transcription factor that regulates gene expression involved in embryonic development, cell differentiation, proliferation, and patterning. The Pbx1 luciferase reporter vector is designed to study the transcriptional activity of Pbx1. The vector contains a Pbx1 DNA consensus binding site and TA minimal promoter upstream of a firefly luciferase reporter gene, which can specifically report Pbx1 activity while maintaining a low basal level of transcription.
