Ferroptosis and
Lipid Peroxidation Assays

Measure Fe²āŗ, GSH, GPx, and MDA simultaneously to completely profile ferroptosis in a single workflow.

Signosis’ Ferroptosis and Lipid Peroxidation Combo Kit provides a comprehensive, high-throughput solution to quantify the hallmark triggers and downstream executioners of ferroptosis simultaneously from a single cell population. By combining four key validated assays into a single microplate-based workflow, this kit eliminates the need to source individual reagents from multiple vendors, saving time, costs, and precious biological samples.

Principle

Each marker in the Signosis Ferroptosis Combo Kit is quantified using distinct, verified spectrophotometric methods optimized to run in parallel using a standard microplate reader:

  • Iron Detection: Ferrous iron reacts with chromogenic reagents to produce a measurable signal proportional to iron concentration

  • GSH Assay: GSH reacts with a colorimetric probe to quantify total glutathione levels

  • GPx Activity: Enzymatic activity is measured through coupled reactions reflecting antioxidant capacity

  • MDA Measurement: Lipid peroxidation is assessed via MDA formation and reaction with specific detection reagents.

Benefits

4-in-1 Assay

Simultaneously measure GSH, Fe²āŗ, GPx, and MDA in a single workflow.

Cost-Effective Solution

Consolidates four different assays into a single kit, reducing both time and reagent costs.

Eliminates Homogenization

Features a proprietary chemical lysis buffer that ruptures cells in 15 minutes, skipping tedious physical grinding.

Low-Temperature MDA Profiling

Replaces the classic 95°C boiling step with a gentle 50°C incubation, preventing microplate evaporation.

Zero Baseline Variance

Measures all four analytes from a single shared sample pool, entirely eliminating sample-to-sample preparation variance.
