TF Filter Plate Arrays

Signosis’ Transcription Factor Activation Plate Assay provides a high-throughput, ELISA-based alternative to traditional EMSA for detecting transcription factor activation. This “EMSA on a plate” enables simultaneous analysis of up to 96 samples, making it an efficient and reliable tool for studying TF activation in response to various stimuli or treatments.

Principle

In Signosis' Transcription Factor (TF) Filter Plate Assays, a biotin-labeled DNA probe containing a specific TF binding sequence is mixed with nuclear extracts to form TF-DNA complexes. These complexes are captured on a filter plate, which retains the bound probe while washing away any unbound probe. The bound probe is then eluted from the filter and transferred to a DNA hybridization plate for quantification. Detection is performed using streptavidin-HRP, and the resulting luminescence is measured as relative light units (RLUs) using a microplate luminometer.
