Ovalbumin (OVA) is a model allergen that is commonly used to induce IgE-mediated allergic responses in animal models, such as mice. When OVA is injected into an animal, the changes in their antibody levels can be measured to determine how pharmacologic or genetic manipulations can affect the immune system. Signosis offers an ELISA kit to measure mouse anti-OVA IgE.
