Erythroid Krüppel-like factor (EKLF) is a zinc-finger transcription factor that plays a crucial role in regulating the differentiation and function of erythroid cells and is essential for the development of the hematopoietic system. The EKLF luciferase reporter vector is designed to study the transcriptional activity of EKLF. The vector contains a EKLF DNA consensus binding site and TA minimal promoter upstream of a firefly luciferase reporter gene, which can specifically report EKLF activity while maintaining a low basal level of transcription.
