Runt-related transcription factor 1 (RUNX1) is a transcription factor that plays a critical role in the development of the hematopoietic system, where it regulates the differentiation and maintenance of hematopoietic stem cells and their progeny. The RUNX1 luciferase reporter vector is designed to study the transcriptional activity of RUNX1. The vector contains an RUNX1 DNA consensus binding site and TA minimal promoter upstream of a firefly luciferase reporter gene, which can specifically report RUNX1 activity while maintaining a low basal level of transcription.
