Promoter-Binding Profiling Plate Arrays

Signosis' TF Promoter Binding Assay allows you to profile up to 96 transcription factors binding to a promoter in a single experiment. This high-throughput solution saves time, reduces costs, and offers a comprehensive view of gene regulation, helping you explore complex transcriptional networks in cancer, metabolic disorders, and neurodegeneration.

Principle

Signosis' Promoter-Binding TF profiling plate arrays use a competition-based method to identify transcription factors (TFs) bound to a specific promoter. In this assay, biotin-labeled oligos and your PCR promoter fragment are mixed with your sample. If an unlabeled promoter DNA containing a TF binding sequence is present, it competes with the biotin-labeled oligos, reducing complex formation and detection. By comparing results with and without the competitor DNA, you can identify the TFs interacting with the promoter.

Specifications

Promoter-Binding TF Array I

  HIGH THROUGHPUT

Can profile up to 96 transcription factors (TFs) binding to a promoter of interest in a single experiment.

SAMPLE TYPE

requires nuclear extract as the starting material, which can either be purchased with the kit or separately. The nuclear extract, catalog number SK-0001, is suitable for both mammalian tissue and cultured cells.

# OF SAMPLES

Able to run up to 4 samples.

CUSTOMIZATION

We offer the flexibility to customize the plate or synthesize a specific transcription factor if the one you need is not available in our standard kit. Let us know your requirements, and we can tailor the assay to suit your research needs.
