Mouse Antiviral Antibody ELISA

Signosis offers ELISA kits designed for the sensitive detection of antibodies produced during the immune response to viral antigens in mouse samples. Featuring a convenient 12×8-well plate with removable strips, these kits provide flexibility, ease of use, and reliable data for studying the immune system's response to viruses in mouse models.

Principle

Signosis’ Antiviral Antibody ELISA Kits detect anti-viral antibodies in mouse serum using a standard ELISA format. A specific viral antigen is pre-coated onto microtiter wells to capture the target antibodies. During the assay, the sample is added, and anti-viral antibodies, if present, bind to the immobilized antigen. An HRP-conjugated anti-mouse antibody is then added, forming a complex. After washing away unbound proteins, TMB substrate is added, which reacts with HRP to form a blue color. Then, Stop solution is added to terminate the reaction and change the blue color to yellow. The intensity of the yellow color, measured at an absorbance of 450 nm, is directly proportional to the concentration of anti-viral antibodies in the sample.
