Signosis’ Cellular Metabolism Combo Assay Kit measures key components of cellular metabolism—glucose, lactate, ATP, and NAD⁺/NADH—in blood, biological fluids, cells, or tissue samples. The kit performs up to 100 assays for each analyte using enzyme-based reactions that generate colorimetric or fluorescent signals directly proportional to metabolite levels. Glucose and lactate are oxidized by their respective enzymes to produce hydrogen peroxide, which reacts with a fluorogenic probe for detection. ATP is measured through coupled enzymatic reactions that link ATP consumption to hydrogen peroxide generation, while NAD⁺/NADH levels are determined through a color-forming reaction with the WST-8 dye, enabling fast and reliable quantification.
Lysis buffer is available for purchase separately, if needed.
This kit is optimized for manual liquid handling. For automated liquid handling platforms, additional reagent volume may be required to compensate for instrument-specific dead volumes or priming requirements.
