Islet cell antibodies (ICA) represent a heterogeneous group of autoantibodies targeting cytoplasmic components of pancreatic islet cells and are established markers of autoimmune diabetes. ICA positivity reflects ongoing immune-mediated beta-cell destruction. Signosis has developed a mouse Anti-ICA ELISA kit for the detection of islet cell autoantibodies in mouse serum, providing a useful research tool for studying diabetes development, disease staging, and immunopathogenesis.
