The mRNA Stability & Decay Multiplex RNA-Protein Screening Plate enables simultaneous detection of RNA-binding activity toward key regulatory RNA elements derived from well-studied RNA model/source genes, including TNFα, c-fos, GM-CSF, and GU-rich decay element models. These source genes contain classic AU-rich elements, AREs, or GU-rich elements, GREs, which are recognized by major RNA-binding proteins such as HuR, TTP/ZFP36, AUF1, and CELF1/CUGBP1. These proteins play central roles in controlling mRNA stability, transcript decay, cytokine expression, inflammatory signaling, and cancer-associated gene regulation.

By profiling multiple RNA model elements in parallel, this plate provides a practical screening tool for comparing RNA-protein binding activity between untreated and treated cells, normal and disease samples, or different cell types. The assay is especially useful for researchers studying inflammation, cancer biology, immune regulation, cellular stress response, and post-transcriptional gene control.
