cAMP ELISA Kit
Signosis offers a competition-binding ELISA kit that can quantify cAMP levels in biological samples. Featuring a convenient 12×8-well plate with removable strips, these kits provide flexibility, ease of use, and reliable results for analyzing pharmacological effects on GPCR activity and signaling pathways in the cell.
Principle
Signosis’ cAMP ELISA Kit measures cAMP levels in samples using a competition-binding ELISA format. A clear 96-well plate is pre-coated with an anti-cAMP antibody. During the assay, samples containing cAMP and a cAMP tracer are added together to each well. These two components competitively bind to the immobilized antibody in the well, and the amount of cAMP tracer that binds to the antibody is inversely proportional to the concentration of cAMP in the sample. After washing the wells to remove any unbound components, DTNB is added to each well to detect the cAMP tracer that remain bound to the immobilized antibody in the well. DTNB reacts with the cAMP tracer to form a yellow product that can be measured spectrophotometrically at an absorbance of 412 nm.
