The Signosis MoLuc GLP1R–β-Arrestin 2 Interaction System is a sensitive, cell-based assay platform for monitoring GLP1R activation through β-arrestin 2 recruitment. Built on the proprietary MoLuc split luciferase technology, the system enables rapid and quantitative detection of GLP1R–β-arrestin 2 interactions by converting receptor activation into a bright luminescent signal.
In this assay, one MoLuc luciferase fragment is fused to the GLP1R, while the complementary fragment is fused to β-arrestin 2. Upon ligand stimulation, activated GLP1R recruit β-arrestin 2, bringing the two MoLuc fragments into close proximity. This reconstitutes an active luciferase enzyme, producing a luminescent signal that directly correlates with GLP1R–β-arrestin 2 interaction.
The MoLuc GLP1R–β-Arrestin 2 Interaction System provides a rapid, quantitative, and highly sensitive method for studying GLP1R signaling in living cells. It is well suited for ligand characterization, agonist and antagonist screening, biased agonism studies, receptor pharmacology, and high-throughput drug discovery.
