The LentiPack 293T is a transformed human embryonic kidney–derived cell line and a highly transfectable subclone of HEK293 that supports strong viral protein expression and efficient gene delivery. The cells constitutively express the simian virus 40 (SV40) large T antigen, enabling episomal replication of SV40 origin–containing plasmids and enhancing transient expression efficiency. 293T cells are widely used for lentiviral packaging, high-titer virus production, transient protein expression, and functional genomics applications. 
The cells should be handled at laboratory containment level 1.
