Neuro2a is a mouse neuroblastoma-derived cell line widely used as an in vitro model for neuronal differentiation, neurobiology, and neurotoxicology studies. These adherent cells exhibit rapid proliferation and can be induced to differentiate into neuron-like cells under specific conditions, making them ideal for investigating neurite outgrowth, signal transduction, synaptic function, and neurodegenerative disease mechanisms. Neuro2a cells are also frequently used in drug screening, genetic studies, and functional assays in neuroscience research.
