The plenti-EGFR (L718Q, L858R) vector contains EGFR with the L718Q, L858R mutations under the MSCV promoter which can be used to infect both dividing and nondividing cells. It contains the HIV-1 LTRs and the lentiviral packaging signal (?) for retroviral expression, with specific elements (WPRE, cPPT, RRE) included for improved transgene expression. Downstream of the EGFR viii gene is a DYKDDDDK-tag for Western blotting. Furthermore, copGFP can be used as a selection marker when used with stable cell lines.
