Ramos is a human Burkitt’s lymphoma-derived B-cell line widely used in immunology and cancer research. These suspension cells express surface immunoglobulin and maintain characteristics of mature B lymphocytes, making them ideal for studying B-cell receptor signaling, antibody production, lymphoma biology, and immune response pathways. Ramos cells are also commonly employed in drug screening, functional genomics, and mechanistic studies of hematologic malignancies.
The cells should be handled at laboratory containment level 1.
