The Developmental & MicroRNA Regulation Multiplex RNA-Protein Screening Plate enables simultaneous detection of RNA-binding activity toward key RNA models involved in developmental gene regulation, microRNA processing, mRNA localization, and translational repression. This panel includes well-studied developmental and post-transcriptional regulatory targets, including let-7 precursor RNA models, Bicoid 3′UTR localization models, Smaug response element models, and Nanos response element models, allowing researchers to profile four RNA model targets in one assay instead of running multiple individual RNA EMSA experiments.
These RNA models are recognized by major RNA-binding proteins such as Lin28, Staufen, Smaug, and Pumilio. These proteins play central roles in stem cell regulation, embryonic development, mRNA localization, maternal mRNA control, translational repression, and microRNA-related gene regulation.
By profiling multiple developmental and microRNA-related RNA models in parallel, this plate provides a practical screening tool for comparing RNA-protein binding activity between treated and untreated cells, normal and disease samples, stem-like and differentiated cells, or different developmental models. The assay is especially useful for researchers studying developmental biology, stem cell regulation, microRNA biogenesis, mRNA localization, translational control, and post-transcriptional gene regulation.
