The Splicing & Processing Multiplex RNA-Protein Screening Plate enables simultaneous detection of RNA-binding activity toward key RNA models involved in pre-mRNA splicing, exon selection, and RNA processing. This panel includes well-studied splicing and processing targets, including polypyrimidine tract RNA models, GU-rich RNA models, SR splicing enhancer models, and NOVA-binding RNA models, allowing researchers to profile four RNA model targets in one assay instead of running multiple individual RNA EMSA experiments.

These RNA models are recognized by major RNA-binding proteins such as PTBP1, TDP-43, SRSF1, NOVA1, and NOVA2. These proteins play central roles in splice-site selection, exon inclusion or skipping, alternative splicing regulation, neuronal RNA processing, and disease-associated RNA regulation.

By profiling multiple splicing-related RNA models in parallel, this plate provides a practical screening tool for comparing RNA-protein binding activity between treated and untreated cells, normal and disease samples, or different cell types. The assay is especially useful for researchers studying alternative splicing, RNA processing, neurobiology, cancer biology, cellular differentiation, and post-transcriptional gene control.
