The RNA-Protein Interaction Multiplex Screening Combo Kit is a comprehensive plate-based screening system designed to profile 16 major RNA model targets in one assay. This combo kit brings together four key areas of RNA biology: mRNA stability and decay, translational control, splicing and processing, and developmental/microRNA regulation. Instead of running many individual RNA EMSA experiments, researchers can screen a broad RNA-binding landscape from cell lysates in a single, efficient workflow.
This combo kit includes representative RNA models derived from well-studied regulatory elements such as TNFα ARE, c-fos ARE, GM-CSF ARE, GU-rich decay elements, IRE-containing mRNAs, histone stem-loop RNA, TOP mRNA models, HCV IRES RNA, polypyrimidine tract RNA, NOVA-binding RNA, let-7 precursor RNA, Bicoid 3′UTR, Smaug response elements, and Nanos response elements. These RNA models are recognized by major RNA-binding proteins including HuR, TTP/ZFP36, AUF1, CELF1/CUGBP1, IRP1/IRP2, SLBP, La/SSB, eIF3, PTBP1, TDP-43, SRSF1, NOVA1/NOVA2, Lin28, Staufen, Smaug, and Pumilio.
By combining 16 RNA-binding targets into one multiplex format, this kit provides a practical tool for comparing RNA-protein binding activity between treated and untreated cells, normal and disease samples, different cell types, or developmental states. The assay is especially useful for researchers studying post-transcriptional gene regulation, inflammation, cancer biology, immune regulation, translation control, alternative splicing, neurobiology, stem cell biology, microRNA regulation, and developmental biology.
