hnRNP A1, a member of the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) family, is a key regulator of alternative splicing, RNA export, telomere maintenance, and mRNA translation. It preferentially binds UAGGGA/UAGGGA-like sequences and G-rich motifs, often within splicing silencers or telomeric RNA. This EMSA kit allows you to characterize hnRNP A1–RNA binding, identify functional binding elements, and analyze the effects of mutations or cofactors on RNA–protein complex formation.
