Signosis has established Jak2 V617F expressing Ba/F3 cell line that serves as an indispensable tool for researchers delving into the molecular intricacies of myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs) associated with Jak2 mutations. With its expression of the constitutively active Jak2 V617F, this cell line offers detailed analysis of mutant JAK2 signaling, downstream STAT5 activation, and partial transformation properties, serving as a key tool for studying disease mechanisms and testing targeted inhibitors.
 
The cell line was generated with human JAK2 V617F expression vector into BaF3 cells, and the single clones have been selected with hygromycin treatment and GFP expression. The positive clone has been confirmed with PCR-sequencing and Western blot with anti-JAK antibody.
