Signosis has established the Jak2 WT (wild-type) expressing Ba/F3 cell line has been leveraged for research in hematopoietic cell signaling, specifically focusing on the Janus kinase 2 (Jak2) pathway. Jak2, a pivotal tyrosine kinase in cell signaling, regulates fundamental processes such as proliferation, survival, and differentiation of hematopoietic cells. The cell line was generated with JAK2 wt expression vector into BaF3 cells, and the single clones have been selected with hygromycin treatment, GFP expression. The positive clone has been confirmed with PCR-sequencing and Western blot with anti-JAK antibody.
