Signosis’ EL-003 is a stable Ba/F3 cell line expressing human EGFR with the L858R mutation. The EGFR L858R variant is a well-characterized activating mutation associated with constitutive EGFR signaling and is frequently observed in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
 
The cell line was generated by lentiviral transduction of Ba/F3 cells with a lentiviral construct encoding human EGFR L858R, together with an EGFP reporter to facilitate identification and selection of successfully transduced cells by FACS. Stable clones were isolated and validated by PCR followed by sequencing to confirm the EGFR L858R mutation and by Western blot analysis to verify EGFR protein expression.
 
The established cell line provides a stable model for studying mutant EGFR signaling, investigating mechanisms of EGFR-driven oncogenesis, and screening or evaluating EGFR-targeted drugs and compounds.
