BRN3 is a member of the POU-domain family of transcription factors, and is involved in the regulation of various biological processes, including neural development, neuronal differentiation, neurogenesis, and sensory system development. The BRN3 luciferase reporter vector is designed to study the transcriptional activity of BRN3. The vector contains a BRN3 DNA consensus binding site and TA minimal promoter upstream of a firefly luciferase reporter gene, which can specifically report BRN3 activity while maintaining a low basal level of transcription. It also contains the Renilla Luciferase under the CMV promoter for data normalization.
