Myb-like DNA-binding domain (Myb) is a family of transcription factors which plays important roles in the regulation of cell growth, differentiation, and survival in various tissues. The Myb luciferase reporter vector is designed to study the transcriptional activity of Myb. The vector contains a Myb DNA consensus binding site and TA minimal promoter upstream of a firefly luciferase reporter gene, which can specifically report Myb activity while maintaining a low basal level of transcription.
It also contains the Renilla Luciferase under the CMV promoter for data normalization.
