Nuclear factor of activated T-cells (NFAT) is a family of transcription factors that play a central role in the immune response, particularly in T cells and other immune cells. The NFAT luciferase reporter vector is designed to study the transcriptional activity of NFAT. The vector contains an NFAT DNA consensus binding site and TA minimal promoter upstream of a firefly luciferase reporter gene, which can specifically report NFAT activity while maintaining a low basal level of transcription. It also contains the Renilla Luciferase under the CMV promoter for data normalization.
