Pleomorphic adenoma gene 1 (PLAG1) is a transcription factor that plays an important role in regulating cell proliferation, growth, and differentiation. The PLAG1 luciferase reporter vector is designed to study the transcriptional activity of PLAG1. The vector contains a PLAG1 DNA consensus binding site and TA minimal promoter upstream of a firefly luciferase reporter gene, which can specifically report PLAG1 activity while maintaining a low basal level of transcription. It also contains the Renilla Luciferase under the CMV promoter for data normalization.
