CCL2, or C-C motif chemokine ligand 2, is a protein that acts as a signaling molecule to attract immune cells like monocytes and macrophages to sites of inflammation. The CCL2 Promoter luciferase reporter vector is designed for studying the regulation of CCL2. The vector contains the CCL2 promoter region upstream of a firefly luciferase reporter gene, which can specifically report activity for CCL2 activity.
