Forkhead box I1 (FOXI1) is a transcription factor that is involved in regulating various aspects of cellular processes, including differentiation, development, and stress responses. The FOXI1 luciferase reporter vector is designed to study the transcriptional activity of FOXI1. The vector contains a FOXI1 DNA consensus binding site and TA minimal promoter upstream of a firefly luciferase reporter gene, which can specifically report FOXI1 activity while maintaining a low basal level of transcription.
The inclusion of a neomycin resistance gene in the vector allows it to be used for stable cell line selection. In addition, the vector also has a GFP-tag which can be used to monitor transfection efficiency. A map of the vector can be found in the product's image gallery.
