The TA luciferase reporter vector is used as a control in experiments where luciferase activity is measured to assess the effects of a treatment or condition on gene expression or signaling pathways.
 
The inclusion of a neomycin resistance gene in the vector allows it to be used for stable cell line selection. In addition, the vector also has a GFP-tag which can be used to monitor transfection efficiency. A map of the vector can be found in the product's image gallery.
