TCF/LEF is a group of transcription factors that play a crucial role in the Wnt signaling pathway, which is involved in regulating cell proliferation, differentiation, survival, and stem cell maintenance. The TCF/LEF luciferase reporter vector is designed to study the transcriptional activity of TCF/LEF. The vector contains a TCF/LEF DNA consensus binding site and TA minimal promoter upstream of a firefly luciferase reporter gene, which can specifically report TCF/LEF activity while maintaining a low basal level of transcription.
The inclusion of a neomycin resistance gene in the vector allows it to be used for stable cell line selection. In addition, the vector also has a GFP-tag which can be used to monitor transfection efficiency. A map of the vector can be found in the product's image gallery.
